Stemming from ESRI's commitment to the needs and demands of GIS community in the Middle East
and North Africa, ESRI announces the establishing of ESRI Northeast Africa (QSIT).
The newly formed company allows the expansion of ESRI's software distribution into Libya,
Chad, and Sudan, and will also provide the support and services required by ESRI's ever
growing customer base in the region.
According to Jack Dangermond, ESRI president, “ESRI Northeast Africa is able to
better serve our existing customer base with a confident corporate support.
The new company acts as a center of excellence for ESRI in the region and will be able
to provide timely support and premium services for both customers and fellow distributors."
QSIT’s designation reflects the growth of the GIS market throughout the region.
On one hand, we are strongly motivating our team to surpass customers' expectations.
